Movie Plot: Mild-mannered Clark Kent works as a reporter at the Daily Planet alongside his crush, Lois Lane. Clark must summon his superhero alter-ego when the nefarious Lex Luthor launches a plan to take over the world.

On the planet Krypton, the ruling High Council’s thrust-l suggests that Krypton will soon be destroyed when his red supergansun supernova is gone. Despite his insistence, he fails to convince other members of the council. To save his newborn son, Cal-L, Jor-L planned to launch him into a spacecraft for Earth, a planet with a suitable atmosphere where its densely molecular structure will give him supernatural power and other powers. Shortly after launch, the sun of Krypton destroys the planet.

Ship crash-lands on Earth near Smallville, Kansas. Cal-L, now three years old, is found by Jonathan and Martha Kent, who are baffled when lifting their truck. Taking Clarke’s name in the name of Martha’s young woman, they decide to take her back to her field.
